Labradoodle Ohio
The labradoodle ohio club will have a photo of a puppy and adult on their site.
Normally, dogs of this breed should be athletic and graceful. They should be compact with substance and medium boning with a free flowing wavy or curling non-shedding coat. The head should be broad and fully coated. The eyes should be slightly rounded, large and expressive. The ears should be moderately flat against head and should be level with eye and the nose should be large, square and fleshy. These dogs come in 3 sizes: Standard (from 21 to 24 inches, Middle (17-20 inches) and Mini (12-16 inches.) These dogs are very smart, graceful, athletic, sociable, confident and easy to train. These dogs are perfect for allergy sufferers.

This breed is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. The breed was started when Wally Cochran was approached by a blind woman who suffered severe allergies to dogs in the 1970s. The first crossbreeding was successful and produced three allergen-reduced puppies. However, dogs of early generations had diverse coat colors and coat types. And while the coats of some puppies remained steady throughout lifetime, others did suddenly shed after 8 months of age and were no longer acceptable as low allergy dogs. It took a lot of time and efforts to eliminate shedding coats, so nowadays they occur only in rare occasions. The labradoodle ohio club will have a photo of a puppy and adult on their site.
